A mother of four passed away after waiting 11 hours for an ambulance to arrive. Hannah Houghton who has cystic fibrosis was struggling to breathe when her fiancé called for an ambulance. She was transferred to intensive care upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth hospital, before dying from cardiac arrest.

Footage has emerged from inside one of the helicopters ahead of the tragic crash near Seaworld Australia. The incident claimed the life of pilot Ash Jenkinson who is said to have originally been from Birmingham as well as three others.

Birmingham City Council has erected 60 bollards outside a primary school between Longbridge and Northfield, leaving many Brummies feeling baffled by the decision. Residents claim the traffic calming measures are an 'unnecessary eyesore' and could actually prove more dangerous for people.
