Step wells are a part of our culture with centuries of history. However, the Telangana government is taking steps to restore these which have been neglected for decades and have lost their shape. Planned action has been taken to preserve the step wells which are living testimonies of the historical glory of Hyderabad. As a part of this, Bansilalpet step well has been brought back to life with the special initiative of Baldia and HMDA | శతాబ్దాల చరిత్ర ఉన్న మెట్ల బావులు మన సంస్కృతిలో భాగం. అయితే దశాబ్దాలుగా నిరాదరణకు గురై..రూపురేఖలు కోల్పోయిన వీటి పునరుద్ధరణకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నది తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం. హైదరాబాద్‌ చారిత్రక వైభవానికి సజీవ సాక్ష్యాలుగా నిలిచే మెట్ల బావుల పరిరక్షణకు ప్రణాళికాబద్ధంగా కార్యాచరణ చేపట్టి.. బావితరాలకు అందించేందుకు నడుం బిగించింది. ఇందులోభాగంగానే బల్దియా, హెచ్‌ఎండీఏ ప్రత్యేక చొరవతో బన్సీలాల్‌పేట మెట్ల బావి మళ్లీ జీవం పోసుకుంది.
