HSBC could lose 100 staff in new round of branch closures

HSBC will close 114 branches in Britain from April 2023, including London branches from July, the British bank said on Wednesday (November 30).Alongside Lloyds Banking Group, which has also closed branches in recent months, the bank blamed changing customer behaviour for the move, saying customers are increasingly banking online.HSBC said it will invest tens of millions of pounds in updating and improving its remaining 327 branches.
