Former RAF medic creates stunning poppy display in Swansea

A beautiful handmade display of poppies has appeared in South Wales. The installation is located in a residential estate in Swansea and was created by former RAF medic Christy Cox ahead of Remembrance Day. Christy spent over 20 hours creating the poppies by hand using plastic bottles. She then glued them together and spray painted them red. Roughly 600 poppies were used to create the field of poppies and around 1,000 on the camouflage net that is draped from the tree.
