Incumbent Kuala Nerus MP Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, who is mounting a defence on a BN ticket, believed that his constituents are looking for a leader who has morals and is able to unite the people.

"The people here want someone with ideas and morals because we are in an era where people want to unite, not break apart.

"Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has shown that it cares for the rakyat by allocating millions of ringgit (for relief efforts).

"Therefore, I believe the people can see what we have accomplished," he said when met at the Serdang night market in Kuala Terengganu last night.
