05 Mai Chau Sticky Rice with BBQ Mountain Pork

Our next stop was a small village in Mai Chau District (Hoa Binh Province). It was a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and green rice paddles. I was very excited because it was my first time staying in a stilt house and also able to cook there in the house. Our family made a very traditional Mai Chau's dishes which were BBQ mountain pork with sticky rice and Cham Cheo sauce. It was a fantastic time to experience how the villagers lived back in the day. I wish I had more time to explore the town.
