Victorian opposition pledges to cap public transport fares at $2 a day

The Liberal Party has announced a plan to slash public transport fares in Melbourne and regional centres, if it wins next month's election. Opposition Leader Matthew Guy says all daily fares would be capped, at two dollars, but public transport advocates say it's quality, not cost, that should be the focus.
