Welcome to the Top Gear Track Challenge! The rules are simple: Guests try to beat the lap time set by Anton Andres, our social media editor and former racing instructor using a Toyota GR86 on the Laguna Seca Raceway. This is within the virtual confines of ‘Gran Turismo 7,’ but to make the experience as realistic as possible, we’re using a sim-racing rig courtesy of Apex Racing Philippines.

Our first guest? None other than actor, gamer, and car enthusiast Alden Richards. It’s been quite a while since he last played ‘Gran Turismo,’ so this is by no means an easy challenge for him to take on. See how he fared by watching the full video.
