After Coimbatore, Thiruppur, Ramanathapuram and Madurai, incidents of miscreants hurling petrol bombs have been reported from Kanyakumari and Salem as well. A CCTV has captured a miscreant lighting two bottles filled with fuel on fire and hurling them at the residence of Kalyanasundaram, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) functionary from Karumankudal. Around midnight on Saturday, CCTV had captured a miscreant throwing two petrol bombs inside Kalyanasundaram’s residence and escaping on a bike with another suspect.
