Tamil Nadu: CM Stalin visits hospitals in Coimbatore as district reports spike in Covid cases

Tamil Nadu has been under a Covid-induced lockdown for nearly three weeks now. While the case positivity rate in the capital city of Chennai has reduced, Coimbatore district is seeing a huge spike in Covid-19 cases. Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday visited the hospitals in Coimbatore and Salem. The chief minister was seen wearing PPE kit and visited Covid wards in the district.
