Welcome to Fukuoka with a Tour of the original restaurant of Ichiran Ramen The biggest and most famous Chain ramen restaurant in the world.
Originally the restaurant was called Futaba Ramen 1960.
6 years later the name was changed to Ichiran ramen Ichiran means one orchid.
Now there are over 80 locations in Japan and also some locations in the USA, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Ichirans menu is focused on tonkotsu ramen.
With a delicious pork bone soup, special raw noodles with a unique blend of quality flours and the ichiran original spicy red sauce made of 30 different ingredients.
There are also ichiran restaurants offering chicken broth for people who prefer to not eat pork.
The best experience is to go to directly to the ichiran restaurant and try the Ramen.
But if you can't go there and still want to try this delicious ramen you can order the original ramen noodles with the secret powder to make your ramen at home!
There are two different kinds either straight or wavy noodles.
At the entrance, you can find a ticket vending machine to order your meal.
You choose what you want to eat put the money in the machine and press the buttons.
Take your tickets to your table and don't forget your change.
After you enter you can see a map which shows you which seats are free to choose your seat and go there.
When you reach the table you have an order sheet, where you can choose many details of your meal.
It also has English, Chinese and Korean translations so it is easy to order for foreigners!
Just circle your preferences. The recommendations are already marked so if you are not sure just follow those.
At Ichiran you can order completely without talking.
You have a button in front of you, if you need assistance from the Staff.
To your right side there are cute wooden blocks to tell them your message.
If the Food you ordered was not enough or you forgot something there is an extra item order sheet to complete your order.
