Najib Abdul Razak has been given medical clearance to be sent back to Kajang prison, according to the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital (CRH).

CRH said the convicted former premier has undergone several examinations and treatments during his stay at the hospital.

“The results of his latest check-up by CRH’s rehabilitation specialist found that his health is now in good condition.

“He has also been taught by CRH’s physiotherapy trainer and can carry out the exercise techniques independently.

“Medical consultants from CRH and the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) have given him medical clearance and cleared him to be sent back to Kajang prison,” the hospital said in a statement today.
