French President Emmanuel Macron, while addressing world leaders at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was right when he told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this is not the time for war.

PM Modi met Putin on September 16 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Uzbekistan's Samarkand where he told the Russian leader that "today's era is not of war".
