Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron took boat ride along the ghats of Ganga on March 12. Their ride started from the famous Assi Ghat in Varanasi and culminated at the historic Dashashwamedh Ghat. Congress has alleged that 300 liters of fragrance was used in river Ganga ahead of France President Emmanuel Macron’s visit.
