Raquel Laguna/ SUCOPRESS. Meaghan Oppenheimer, executive producer and showrunner of Hulu’s latest drama, TELL ME LIES, talks in this interview about the challenges she faced creating the series and also about casting the actors for the show. Meaghan says she really relates on a personal level to the story, based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name. In her opinion, a lot of teenagers will relate to some of the characters. TELL ME LIES follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them. The series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Branden Cook, Sonia Mena, Catherine Missal, Benjamin Wadsworth, and Alicia Crowder. TELL ME LIES is now streaming on Hulu.
