Charles III: Mother had great admiration for Scottish people
  • 2 years ago
King Charles III says his late mother Queen Elizabeth II had "the greatest admiration for the Scottish people" and found "a haven and a home" in the hills of the "ancient kingdom". At a motion of condolence at Scottish Parliament, Charles III says his Scottish titles that he "had the honour to carry for so long" will be passed to his eldest son, Prince William, who he says will be "proud to bear the symbols of this ancient Kingdom".
