हिंदू धर्म मे कई ऐसे दिन होते हैं, जिनका बेहद खास महत्व होता है। जैसे- पितृ पक्ष। दरअसल, इसे श्राद्ध भी कहा जाता है और इस दिन लोग अपने पितरों के लिए तर्पण, पिंडदान और श्राद्ध करते हैं। ये सब इसलिए किया जाता है ताकि उनके पूर्वजों की आत्मा को शांति मिल सके। हर साल की तरह इस साल भी पितृ पक्ष की शुरुआत होने वाली है और लोग इन दिनों में अपने पितरों का श्राद्ध करते हैं। इस साल पितृ पक्ष की शुरुआत 10 सितंबर से होने जा रही है और इनका समापन 25 सितंबर के दिन होगा यानी इन 15 दिनों तक आप अपने पूर्वजों का श्राद्ध और बाकी चीजें विधि पूर्वक कर सकते हैं।
