This time we went for a trip to North Sikkim. We commenced this trip on 17th March. By this time several places of North Sikkim remains snow covered. Thus, there are chances of road blocks due to snow. Still we made our itinerary to those extreme places where we have to depend on our luck.
This time we planned to visit Lachung, Katao (China Border), Yumthang Valley, Zero point, Lachen, Gurudongmer Lake, Kala Patthar etc. Let's see how much we can make successful.
In this video, we have depicted our jouney to Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, at an elevation of 5,430 m (17,800 ft) according to the Government of Sikkim.
While coming back from Gurudongmar Lake we face tremendous bad weather. Somehow we escaped from that place. The weather became so bad suddenly, we became worried that we might get stuck. Anyway, somehow we escaped from that situation and reached Lachen. At Lachen, we had our lunch and started our journey to Gangtok. At last, we reached Gangtok. We stayed at Hotel Sikkim Continental in Gangtok.
