गणेश चुतर्थी का पावन पर्व नजदीक है। ऐसे में देशभर में इन दिनों गणेश उत्सव की तैयारी जोरों पर है। इस साल 31 अगस्त को गणेश चतुर्थी है। इस मौके पर देश ही दुनियाभर में भगवान गणेश के भक्त अपने आराध्य विघ्नहर्ता की प्रतिमा अपने-अपने घरों के साथ-साथ पंडालों में स्थापित करते। इस प्रतिमा का 9 दिनों तक पूजन किया जाता है। 10 दिन पूजन के बाद अनंत चतुर्दशी के दिन गाजे बाजे से श्री गणेश प्रतिमा को जल में विसर्जित किया जाता है।

On this occasion, the devotees of Lord Ganesha all over the world would install the idol of their adorable Vighnaharta in their respective homes as well as in the pandals. This idol is worshiped for 9 days. After 10 days of worship, on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, the idol of Shri Ganesh is immersed in water with singing.
