Today in History, 26 August: Mother Teresa was born in 1910. Mother Teresa was a Catholic nun of Albania. She later took Indian citizenship and founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950 in Kolkata. Mother Teresa received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 and was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour, in 1980.
