This dramatic footage shows the moment a roof is ripped from a building in Paris amid intense thunderstorms. Videos show the chaotic scenes on the Avenue de Versailles in the 16th arrondissement. The footage shows debris frantically whirling amongst buildings before the roof of a building opposite is broken and lifted off by the extreme wind. Storms have caused flash flooding in areas of the French capital, including streets and metro stations. The severe weather conditions come after recent weeks-long heatwaves across France, where residents saw temperatures of up to 40C. This footage was filmed in the early evening on 16/8.
