Addicted to emails: phones, poison of social relations at work
  • 2 years ago
We are not teaching you anything: the telephone harms social relationships... whether it be in your personal life but also professionally.
You've probably already attended a lunch, a break or a meeting with colleagues interrupted by the notifications from the phone.
By glancing at the device, eye contact is stopped, as well as dialogue in some cases.
And all this, without ever (or almost) apologizing!
One ends up being "snubbed" or "snubbing" a colleague because of the phone, which can cause a feeling of bitterness.
But what if these notifications about work?
Indeed, we have become so thirsty for digital communication that we stay glued to our mailbox.
This gives us the impression that a pile of emails is accumulating until we get back to work.
So, we are constantly updating our mailbox constantly to be sure not to miss something urgent, almost "vital".
This ends up adding to the stress.
But don't forget the right to disconnect: learn to let go of your phone during your breaks and enjoy human interaction!
