নিজের মন্ত্রিসভার দিকে ইঙ্গিত করে জ্যোতি বসুর মন্ত্রিসভার সদস্য বুদ্ধদেব ভট্টাচার্য বলেছিলেন, চোরদের সরকারে থাকা যায় না। সেই আমলেও যে দুর্নীতি ছিল তা প্রমাণ করতে প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ওই কথাকে ব্যবহার করছে বর্তমান শাসক দল। বুদ্ধদেববাবু কিন্তু ওই কথা বলে মন্ত্রিসভা থেকে পদত্যাগ করেছিলেন। এখন কি তাহলে দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত মন্ত্রিসভায় থাকা নিয়ে, অথবা অভিযুক্ত পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়কে মন্ত্রিসভায় রাখা নিয়ে আর কারও কোনও আপত্তি নেই?
