Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on July 23, congratulated President elect Droupadi Murmu for winning the Presidential poll.
The CM also expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for nominating a tribal woman for the post of the President of India. “I want to congratulate Droupadi Murmu for winning the Presidential election with full majority. This is a historic moment for the country. I also want to thank PM Modi for nominating a tribal woman for the President of India,” the CM said.
