Calls for calm over the threat of foot and mouth disease

Every traveller returning from Indonesia could be compelled to use foot mats or take other biosecurity directions, as the federal government steps up its response to foot and mouth disease. Agriculture Minister Murray Watt will look to invoke new measures in the biosecurity act for the first time.
