Heavy rain creates ideal conditions for growth in NSW

More than 14 million trees are being planted in New South Wales as heavy rain creates the ideal conditions for growth in some parts of the state. But a timber shortages remain after the 2019 fires wiped out a quarter of the state's timber plantations resulting in a rise in the cost of housing construction.
