Protesters besieged Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's home, forcing him to flee. Protesters have infiltrated the President's house, thousands of demonstrators have been asking for Rajapaksa's resignation since March, when it was revealed that Sri Lanka was in the grip of a serious economic crisis. 
Amidst all of this the President managed to flee away from his residence to a secret hideout which is unknown to the public.
