Phillip Island penguin protector retires after four decades

Phillip Island's penguins are famous around the world but else is known about the man credited with saving from local extinction. Doctor Peter Dann spent his working life ensuring the penguins would continue to roost and breed on the island. But now after a career spanning decades and a contribution described as immeasurable he's taking his happy feet out the door.
