Honor Flight Kern County hosted its monthly breakfast Thursday morning with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stopping by to make a $10,000 donation. McCarthy has met up with the Honor Flights in Washington, D.C. over the years and Thursday he talked about the importance of continuing to support our veterans.
