Blue Jays’ Kevin Pillar donates to LGBTQ groups after homophobic slur

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar plans to donate On May 17, Pillar was suspended after he yelled a slur to Alanta Braves reliever Jason Motte. Pillar publicly apologized for the outburst and said he will donate his forfeited salary from his two-game suspension to the groups PFLAG and You Can Play. Kevin Pillar told ESPN Pillar will also attend sensitivity training sessions with the PFLAG.
