India reported 16,135 fresh covid cases on Monday, slightly higher than the number of cases recorded a day before. 24 people succumbed to the virus within a span of 24 hours. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the active covid cases in the country now stand at 1,13,864.
