China Floods: 100 Rivers Flow Above Danger Mark, Half A Million People Affected in Central Provinces

China’s central and eastern provinces are seeing the highest rainfall in the region in over 70 years which has led to massive flooding. Over 100 rivers have been flowing above the danger mark, and hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced. Guangdong province has been one of the worst affected. In Jiangxi province in the south-east China, authorities raised a flood warning with nine districts affected.
