Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena's prominent leader, has announced that the current CM of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray will not resign. He said that Shiv Sena was ready for a floor test and any hardship coming their way, they will uphold the values of the party and gain a majority. 

This comes after Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena's prominent member, rebelled against the party and took 34 MLAs along with him to Guwahati. It is speculated that he is in talks with the BJP.
