Spicecraft & IndiGo Incident: How Dangerous Are Bird Strikes On Planes? 

Birds are the most common threats to aircraft safety. Bird strike incidents happen daily, but some are more dangerous than others. Recently, two such incidents took place. One involved a SpiceJet plane flying Patna-Delhi and the second on an IndiGo aircraft flying Guwahati-Delhi. After these incidents, both planes had to return to their origin airports.
