Dramatic images of tornado tearing through city of Foshan in China’s southern Guangdong province

A tornado hit the city of Foshan in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong on June 19, 2022. Footage captured the twister as it ripped through Nanhai district in the city of over 9 million people, at around 7.20am. During the one minute the tornado touched down, it caused power outages, uprooted trees and damaged houses and vehicles, but reportedly no casualties. Video source: CCTV
