Countless unexploded bombs left in Laos by the United States during the Vietnam war are still claiming lives decades after the war ended.

In total, the U.S. military dropped about 270 million bombs in the 1960s and 1970s during what became known as U.S. "secret war" in Laos, a mission led by CIA during the Vietnam War.
