Soaring power and gas prices and have put the national spotlight on energy. But even before the current crisis big business and governments had begun turning one of the answers to meet the demand for clean and reliable energy. In South Australia, where renewable energy has long been a focus, the government is planning a major hydrogen plant with the ability to make the gas, store it, burn it and even export it.
