Banda Bahadur attacked Sirhind in May 1710 and captured the Lohagarh fort there. Not only this, while declaring Lohagarh as the capital, Banda Bahadur also issued coins bearing the name of Guru Gobind Singh.

बंदा बहादुर ने मई 1710 में सरहिंद पर हमला बोला और वहां लौहगढ़ किले पर क़ब्ज़ा कर लिया. इतना ही नहीं लौहगढ़ को राजधानी घोषित करते हुए बंदा बहादुर ने गुरु गोविंद सिंह के नाम वाले सिक्के भी जारी किए.
