This is the touching moment a man stopped traffic in the middle of Times Square - to propose to his girlfriend. Jose Miguelo Paez Ramírez, 26, knew he wanted his proposal be one to remember - so decided to bend the knee in one of the world's most famous spots. He popped the question in New York City to partner Valentina Paez Herrera, 25 - who was understandably shocked. Thankfully, she said yes - an answer met by cheers from fellow pedestrians and plenty of honking from the cars that patiently waited for the happy couple. Commercial pilot Jose, who lives with car seller Valentina in the Big Apple, said: "I really feel super excited about the result of my proposal. "It was very difficult to plan but it was favourable!"
