India's women's wrestler Sakshi Malik has won the gold medal in the 62 kg category in the match played on Friday in the UWW ranking event being played in Kazakhstan. Sakshi Malik defeated Kazakhstan's Irina Kuznetsova 7-4 in the final to win the gold medal for the first time in 5 years.

भारत की महीला पहलवान साक्षी मलिक ने कजाखस्तान में खेले जा रहे यूडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यू रैंकिंग स्पर्धा में शुक्रवार के दिन खेले गए मुकाबले में 62 किलो वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम कर लिया है. साक्षी मलिक ने फाइनल मुकाबले में कजाकिस्तान की इरिना कुजनेत्सोवा 7-4 से शिकस्त देते हुए 5 सालों में पहली बार स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम कर लिया हैं.
