Electricity bills to rise considerably in some areas across Australia

Millions of Australian households are set to be hit by soaring electricity costs after the energy industry watchdog increased benchmark prices. People in NSW, south east Queensland and South Australia are set to be hit with a rise of between 1.7 and 8.2 per cent which is above inflation.
