The hearing on the sedition case was held in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Now the Supreme Court has given time till tomorrow to the Central Government on the sedition law. The central government has to tell the Supreme Court that as long as they are reviewing the sedition law, what is its decision on the implementation of this law? Till then, what will happen to the cases of those who are accused under the Sedition Act (IPC 124-A). Apart from this, will such new cases be registered till the decision comes or not? During the hearing, the Supreme Court also expressed concern over those who are already in jail under sedition charges.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट में मंगलवार को राजद्रोह मामले पर सुनवाई हुई. अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने देशद्रोह कानून मामले sedition law पर केंद्र सरकार को कल तक का समय दिया है. केंद्र सरकार को Supreme court को बताना है कि जब तक वो देशद्रोह कानून की समीक्षा कर रहे हैं तब तक इस कानून के लागू करने पर उसका क्या फैसला है? यानि अदालत ने सरकार से पूछा है कि जब तक केंद्र सरकार इस कानून की समीक्षा करे, तब तक उन लोगों के केस का क्या होगा, जो देशद्रोह कानून (IPC 124-A) के तहत आरोपी हैं। इसके अलावा फैसला आने तक इस तरह के नए मामले दर्ज होंगे या नहीं? सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सुनवाई के दौरान उन लोगों पर भी चिंता व्यक्त की जो पहले से ही देशद्रोह के आरोपों के तहत जेल में बंद हैं।
