'Heartbreaking footage has surfaced from Corfu, Greece, which sheds light on an important issue that doesn't get discussed too often.
The video includes clips and snaps of a horse with arthritis. The equine appears to be very exhausted throughout the whole thing and unable to flex her front foot, and can be seen resting in the grass for the most part.
"These are the first videos I took of our latest rescue horse, Peggy," the filmer, Madeline Barry shared. "She has arthritis and could barely move. It is important to get her story out there to show the awful conditions horses have to survive in here in Greece. I’m trying my best to make a difference, one horse at a time."
