Indian Army's mighty and experienced General Manoj Pandey took over as the country's 29th new Army Chief on Saturday, General Manoj Pandey has replaced MM Naravane. General Pandey, who has served as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, is the first officer in the Corps of Engineers who will also be the Chief of Army Staff.

भारतीय सेना के पराक्रमी और अनुभवी जनरल मनोज पांडे ने शनिवार को देश के 29वें नए सेना प्रमुख का कार्यभार संभाल लिया है, जनरल मनोज पांडे ने एमएम नरवणे की जगह ली है. उप थलसेना प्रमुख के तौर पर सेवाएं दे चुके जनरल पांडे कोर ऑफ इंजीनियर्स के पहले अधिकारी है जो चीफ ऑफ आर्मी स्टाफ भी रहेंगे.
