India has suspended tourist visas issued to Chinese nationals. International airlines body International Air Transport Association (IATA) informed about the decision to its member carriers. As reported by PTI, this decision appeared to be a response to Beijing avoiding India's appeals about nearly 22,000 Indian students enrolled in Chinese universities who are unable to go back for physical classes. Beijing has till now refused to let the students enter. The students had to leave China in 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic began. Watch the video to know more.
