Coronavirus: Trump Suspends Travel From Europe For 30 Days, India Suspends All Visas Till April 15

The World Health Organisation (WHO) on March 11 declared coronavirus disease as a pandemic. US President Donald Trump suspended all the travel from Europe to the United States for 30 days amid scare over COVID-19. The ban would also include trade. President Trump imposed the ban on foreigners who have been in 26 countries that make up the European Union’s Schengen area. In India, the state government of Manipur shuts its border with neighbouring country Myanmar. The Italian government has put the entire country on lockdown. It has also closed its businesses amid the rising cases of coronavirus victims. The Indian government has suspended all the existing visas till April 15 as precautionary measures.
