Jahangirpuri Bulldozer Action: Violence took place in Delhi's Jahangirpuri on Saturday during the procession taken out on Hanuman Jayanti. After this, the NDMC started the drive to remove the encroachment. The matter reached the Supreme Court where the action was stayed on Wednesday. The matter was also heard in the Supreme Court on Thursday and the court has stayed the bulldozer action for two weeks. Along with this, orders have also been given to maintain the status quo.

दिल्ली के जहांगीरपुरी में शनिवार को हनुमान जयंती पर निकाली शोभा यात्रा के दौरान हिंसा हुई थी. इसके बाद उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम ने अतिक्रमण हटाओ अभियान शुरू किया, जिस पर विवाद मच गया. यह मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचा जहां बुधवार को कार्रवाई पर रोक लगा दी गई. इस मामले की गुरुवार को भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई और सभी पक्षों को सुनने के बाद कोर्ट ने दो हफ्ते के लिए बुलडोजर एक्शन पर रोक लगा दी है. इसके साथ ही यथा स्थिति बनाए रखने के आदेश भी दिए हैं.
