A controversial sex education show due to run in Bristol in May has been cancelled after its creators were subjected to threats and abuse. The Family Sex Show had hoped to provide safe and positive learning to children, young people and their guardians, but have now cancelled the tour due to the backlash.

Bristol Airport has been accused of “discriminating against the elderly and infirm” after scrapping free bus travel for most OAP concessionary pass holders. Airport managers say they need to increase spare capacity on the route and are reverting to pre-covid use of the local authority concessions card from Sunday.

And a resident in Redfield has opened one of the UKs smallest cafes in his garage. Rob Savage said he built 3 ft 6 as he felt that there was something lacking in the area for the local community.
