'Convincing, formidable' majority failed due to principles, says Anwar
  • 2 years ago
Opposition chief Anwar Ibrahim said his announcement on having a convincing and formidable majority two years ago was based on letters of support from party leaders.

"That was two years ago. And I say it again today, the letters were real," he said in an interview with Malaysiakini, The Vibes and Sinar Harian at his office in Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya on Monday.

Anwar added that he had laid out a list of conditions for those who are going to cooperate with Harapan.
