Popular summer fruits flood the local market in Davao City.

According to vendors, watermelons cost for as low as P16 per kilo due to abundant supply. While pomelo prices costs between P80 to P100 per kilo and mangosteen is at P220 per kilo.

Vendors say prices of some seasonal fruits remain high due to rising cost of transport amid soaring fuel prices. (Keith Bacongco)
